“কিছু বিষাদ হোক পাখি”
চলে গেলেন চিরাগ জ্যোতি রায় (জন্ম ২৯ জানুয়ারী ১৯৮৯; বয়স ২৭) ১লা মার্চ ২০১৬ তারিখে। পেশায় ছিলেন বর্তমানে প্রকৃতি এবং সংরক্ষণবিদ্। নেশায় ছিলেন সাংঘাতিক দক্ষ স্নেক হ্যাণ্ডলার। সাপ ছাড়াও অন্যান্য সব পশু-পাখি-প্রাণীদের অবাধ ভালোবাসতেন তিনি। কাজ করেছেন দেশ বিদেশের বহু নামী অনামী স্নেক-প্রজেক্ট-এ। পেয়েছেন বহু পুরস্কার আর মানুষের অপার ভালোবাসা। ব্লগে লিখে গিয়েছেন তাঁর ভাবনা। আজ তাঁকে নিয়েই লেখা হচ্ছে অজস্র ব্লগ, অসংখ্য স্মৃতিচারণ। সাপকে বিশ্বাস করতেন চিরাগ রায়। মায়া মমতা আস্থা ভরসার উর্ধ্বে গিয়ে নানা প্রজাতির সাপের সঙ্গে ছিল তাঁর আত্মিক সম্পর্ক। আর তাই বোধহয় আমাদের ভারতবর্ষের একটি ট্রপিকাল জঙ্গলে ন্যাচারালিস্টের কাজ করতে করতে সেই সাপের তীব্র ছোবলেই প্রাণ সমর্পণ করলেন তিনি। তুলে দিয়ে গেলেন সাপের বিষ এবং সর্প দংশনের চিকিৎসা বিষয়ক প্রচুর প্রশ্ন। আমাদের দেশে এই ধরনের চিকিৎসা পদ্ধতির বাস্তব পরিস্থিতি নিয়েও কম প্রশ্ন তৈরি হল না। এই ইন্দ্রপতনের অবিশ্বাস্য সংবাদ পাওয়ার পর থেকেই বিভিন্ন প্রশুপ্রেমী সংস্থা এবং মানুষজন, চিরাগের বন্ধুরা চেষ্টা করছেন এই ঘটনা থেকে কিছু একটা গড়ে তুলতে যার লক্ষ্য হবে হাজার হাজার সাধারণ মানুষের প্রাণ বাঁচানো। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি পৃথিবীর সব সুন্দর সাপের মুখের মধ্যে বেঁচে থাকবে চিরাগের মায়াময় মুখ। আমাদের উষ্ণ আদর চিরাগকে।

ReplyDeleteAfter death nobody stay anyehewe physically.Memory stayes. No such loss is compansatable. I have not seen CHIRAG earlier,only knowing that he is one energetic nature lover like a jungle-youth with endless love of nsture.This mother earth and my tall friend BIBEK , his wife lost their son, newly married one young lady lost her love..... I am not able to share their pain. Only I past some of sleepless nights when I remember two times I met Bibek within last one year after about 33 years of gap and we both exchanged our " long time no see " period. Talked about our wife,children and others..... I know only Bibek will never bloom further to talk about Chitag as he did and I will be unable condole me, I eill never be trying to console him and only dound of silence will grow... ... .
ReplyDeleteI have seen Chirag as a toddler and had heard about from Papiya fondly called Piudi. Piudi told me how he caught snakes and enjoyed being with mother nature. Proud to say he gave up his life saving 2 lives. And is resting in peace in the laps of mother nature. May you attain peace. This is to you Chirag. But I dont have words for your mother and father who brought you to this world and your beautiful wife who had never dreamt of this day ever. May god give them the strength to live a life without you.
